The aim of this book is to present the information necessary to analyse data by Least Squares concisely, with many worked examples and at the lowest cost to students. Surveyors can use Least Squares to adjust a traverse more easily and with better analysis than by the Bowditch technique that we used to use. Also, Least Squares adjustment is essential for more advanced survey problems. Most of the material in this book specifically addresses the application of survey measurements in traverses and networks. |
