A child goes fishing with her funny grandfather but, unlike others, she has trouble catching a fish. When Evie is with Grandpa all she wants is to catch a fish. Grandpa knows that fishing isn' t easy and answers Evie' s curious questions with silly seaside stories. Evie doesn' t give up, and just as raindrops drip down, she pulls in something even better than a fish. This beautifully written story with lyrical language celebrates the special relationship between grandparents and children. |
